Solar Energy Sales Professional - New Mexico

We are currently seeking a qualified and energetic Solar Energy Sales Professional to join our team in New Mexico territory. The Solar Energy Sales Professional will be responsible for the following:
- Developing and building a network of customers in the residential and commercial sector within the New Mexico and surrounding regions.
- Conduct sales presentations to individual residential customers, communities, home owners associations, property owners associations, and commercial customers in board room settings.
- Resolve concerns and eliminate obstacles to going Solar.
- Educate customers on solar products, services, features, benefits, etc.
- Perform in home sales presentations, setup display units, and close residential contracts.
- Pre and post sales follow up.
- Development of sales databases and marketing databases.
- Weekly sales reports to management about sales progress and potential pipeline.
- Revenue generation each quarter in order to hit growth targets.
- Attend company meetings, outings, Green Expos, fairs, and other related company events.
- Professional appearance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
The most competitive candidate will have the following skills:
- Previous sales experience, preferably within the solar industry, renewable energy industry, technology industry, or any other related industry experience.

- Preferred, solar installation certification, NABCEP Certification, or any other renewable energy certifications or educational background.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required, or equivalent work experience.
- High sense of urgency, high energy, positive, enthusiastic, self-driven.
- Ability to work a variety of hours, including nights and weekends.
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Power Point and Excel.
- CAD or other design experience is a big plus.
- Reliable vehicle and insurance.
